“It will be very sad when it comes to a finishing,” Radcliffe said. “But it’s something you have to accept.”
The first “Deathly Hallows” film will not hit movie theatres until November of this year, and the second film will arrive in July 2011. So, the fans will not have to worry about saying goodbye to Harry Potter for quite some time.
However, Radcliffe has already begun to say the goodbyes to some of his co-stars. He has been with some of them for past nine years.
“We’ve had a few people finish off their stories in the film, and they’ve been going home,” Radcliffe said. “It is odd [seeing them leave].”
But, the end of the Harry Potter series will come to an end sooner, rather than later. This being said, the series has done a lot of wonderful things says Radcliffe.
“A big investment is going into Leavesden [Studios], and England will finally have a third film studio,” Radcliffe said. “That will do wonders for the film industry in England.”
As for Radcliffe, who will be entering his second decade in the Hollywood film industry, he will be looking forward and won’t spend time looking backward.
“It’s also very exciting [to be finishing the series],” Radcliffe said. “And I’ll hopefully have something to go onto shortly afterwards.”
Radcliffe began filming the Harry Potter series at age 11, and he is now 20.
