John Mayer Apologizes for Dropping the N-Bomb

Posted by Graham Slaughter on February 10th, 2010

Oops.

John Mayer took to his Twitter today to apologize for using the N-word and comparing his penis to a white supremacist.

In a recent interview with Playboy magazine, the acoustic rocker was asked whether Black women throw themselves at him.

John Mayer responded as such: “I don’t think I open myself to it. My d*ck is sort of like a white supremacist. I’ve got a Benetton heart and a f*ckin’ David Duke c*ck. I’m going to start dating separately from my d*ck.”

Oh wait, there’s more.

Somehow, the interview veered into the topic of “hood passes”, at which point Mayor said: “Someone asked me the other day, “What does it feel like now to have a hood pass?” And by the way, it’s sort of a contradiction in terms, because if you really had a hood pass, you could call it a n***** pass. Why are you pulling a punch and calling it a hood pass if you really have a hood pass?”

It comes as no surprise that, being the Twitter-fiend he is, Mayor immediately tweeted his public apology.

“I am sorry that I used the word. And it’s such a shame that I did because the point I was trying to make was in the exact opposite spirit of the word itself.”

Sorry John Mayer, it doesn’t look like a tweet’s going to solve much this time.

I can’t find an excuse for the use of Sour Verbage by a Man who puts himself in the spot light, and a Man who is praised for his God given and fundamental talent. Noticed I’ve highlighted the word Man, because see children must learn to be taught what not say and how to use respectable grammer, for them excuses can be made because there mind is in constant transition……a fundamental respect must be granted. But for a Man of his stature, ther is no such thing as I’m sorry. He just exposes how Sorry he really is.
I’m sorry for EMMIT TILL. A young boy who died young for gazing at his special interest,no excuse was made for the men who did it, cause the knew what they were doing.
