E! News is reporting that a weapon was involved during the altercation between Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller. Aspen Police confirmed the presence of a weapon however would not provide any further details. Sheen posted a $8,500 bond and was later released from jail.
Aspen Chief Deputy D.A. Arnold Mordkin told E! News he has spoken to Sheen since the incident, who “seemed upset, but was cooperative and pleasant”. Sheen is scheduled to appear in a Colorado court on February 8.
Further reports are surfacing that Sheen and his wife have had a history of domestic issues. Additionally Sheen has apparently a stressed relationship with his mother-in-law, which may have played a role in this latest incident.
