Eminem is not homeophobic illustrated perfectly with his classic Em / Elton duet performance at the Grammy's. Point was, he used to use the word "faggot" in a generic sense to mean "knob" "turd" - This kind of thing. In urban US areas, the meaning is generic and unspecific. It's not just a gay slur. But then idiots started saying it was gay-bashing so he's been playing with that ever since. He's even said in interviews "of course I'm not homeophobic, I'm just saying this to piss you off" and people still don't get it. It's not cheap either because he's aiming it at the people who don't get the fact he was never gay-bashing to begin with. That's why on his second album he went all out with it and BECAME what everyone was calling him. Hence "The Way I Am" - I'm going to be, whatever you say I am. I am, whatever you say I am. He's spelled it out... More clearly than any other artist in history has had the courtesy to do and yet you fucking morons still get GENUINELY offended as if it's still real.
