And the reason there was no public outcry about it was, despite the fact that you can now see the full video on YouTube, FOX used their 10 second delay to cover the screen with a full-screen Fox logo - so no TV viewers ever saw it. ABC COULD HAVE done the same for Adam's performance, but chose not to! THEN ABC chose to punish Adam, instead of admitting their own responsibility for what viewers saw. Adam has been invited to appear AND perform on The View, on Dec 10 - the day after the Barbara Walters Special. And you can BET it was Barbara Walters who pressured ABC to allow it! She's my new heroine! The only way ABC can make amends for their reprehensible, homophobic decisions would be to reinstate Adam on BOTH Kimmel and the New Year's Rockin' Eve broadcasts! Be sure to watch Adam hosting NewNowNext PopLab on LOGO, Monday, Dec 7 at 7 PM EST. He's also going to be on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien on Monday, Dec 14, on Larry King Live on Dec 15, and on Leno on Dec 21. Also, to Emma Renda - I seriously doubt "the majority of (Adam's) appeal has popped up following his AMA appearance." That's just silly. Adam's fans have been following him from Day 1 on American Idol. And his TRUE FANS have supported him even after his misstep on the AMAs.
