donny osmondThe Dancing with the Stars finale saw to it that another Osmond made it to the finale, but this time, there was a first-place finish involved.

The show hosted celebrities among the likes of former pop-star Aaron Carter, Melissa Joan Hart and Tom DeLay, who were all eliminated before Donny Osmond’s victory on Tuesday (November 24) night.

Osmond was famous for his singing and his family’s television sitcom way back in the ’70s. Partnered with blonde bombshell, Kym Johnson, Osmond edged out the other two finalists, Kelly Osbourne and Mya. According to Entertainment Weekly, Osmond declared that he doesn’t think he has worked harder for something in his life. He told them that “when you record an album and it goes platinum, yeah, you’re in the studio and you work hard for months, but it’s not like your whole body hurts. Maybe you get a little hoarse and tired. But on Dancing with the Stars, everything hurts.”

This is Dancing with the Stars’ second Osmond, as Marie Osmond had a solid third-place finish in Season Five. Time will tell to see if Donny will rub the victory into his little sister’s face. Seeing as it’s as close to a comeback that he could have achieved, it would be a shame not to.
