He is not the President (Leader) of the aforementioned Council. The cleric obviously doesn't like the movie, that's as far as it goes. No statement has been issued. The Pope meets diplomats, gives speeches, writes doctrinal documents from time to time, books and visits a few countries every year, he doesn't give his opinion on books or movies, he doesn't have the time, nor would he do so even if he had the time. Beware whenever you see "The Vatican says..." or "The Pope says....", the media has a habit (No pun intended) of blowing stories of all proportions and sometimes they even make stories up. It is a movie! it is for ENTERTAINMENT value only so what is the big deal??? It has nothing to do with the Vatican culture and making a mockery of it. I think these people just want to condemn something other than themselves.
