Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Pilot May Have Been Dropped By HBO
Sarah Michelle Gellar’s upcoming project, a comedy on HBO called The Wonderful Maladys, may not be premiering in 2010 as planned, reports E! News.
Nate Cordrry, Gellar’s costar on the show about a family of eccentric geniuses, said on Facebook, “Didn’t get picked up… boo.”
Alan Taylor, who directed the pilot back in May said, “Sadly, the rumours are true. WM will not be going to series.”
But fans shouldn’t lose hope just yet. When asked about rumours the show had been canned, a representative for HBO said, “We’re not able to confirm that one.”
