Kill BillBill may be dead, but that doesn’t mean the killing is over.

“Kill Bill” director Quentin Tarantino recently told an Italian talk show that he wants to do a third installment in the film franchise, it just won’t be for a few years yet, according to MTV News.

While on the talk show Tarantino claimed that, “The Bride will fight again!” However, the eccentric film director also said he wanted 10 years to pass before making the third movie, which could see it being released no earlier than 2014.

Why the big gap between films? “Two reasons,” Tarantino said, “One: I think Uma [Thurman] and I needed a 10 year break cause the first one was so hard. And second: I really love the character. And I think she deserves a 10 year release of no fighting and being with her [daughter].”

It seems that Tarantino really isn’t ready to be finished with Beatrix Kiddo (Uma Thurman’s character). He first brought up the idea of a third (as well as a fourth) “Kill Bill” on the set of his most recent film,”Inglorious Basterds,” according to The Playlist. Rumors have also been floating around about a prequel to the first two films.

But with his appearance on the Italian TV show, it looks like Tarantino’s ideas are finally starting to come alive. It has long-been speculated that Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox)’s daughter, who is around 6 years old in “Kill Bill 2,” will grow up and come back in the third film to seek revenge on the woman (Thurman) who killed her mother.

If the third film does get made, regardless of when that is or which characters are invovled, one thing can be expected: blood. Tons, and tons, of blood.
