Kardashian and Odom Have No Time for Pre-Nup
Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom won’t let some silly legalities get in the way of their whirlwind wedding, even if it means their millions of dollars or their reality TV ratings.
The two wed on Saturday, just a month after they started dating. In celebrity weddings like this, there is a lot of money at stake on either side and apparently the two, though anxious to get the ceremony underway, weren’t so anxious as to shirk their pre-nup discussions.
While both agreed to signing one, there was not enough time prior to the wedding to properly negotiate. So, rather than think things over, the two opted for a post-nup meaning arrangements would take place following the wedding, according to TMZ.
Sounds sensible, right? Well, sensible only goes so far in the world of reality TV. Turns out the negotiations were postponed until after the ceremony because the wedding had to be filmed this weekend since it was being paid for by one of the Kardashians television shows.
Negotiations have begun between the celebrity’s lawyers, but according to TMZ, they are already encountering disagreements. Maybe if the lawyers take their time, they can make the negotiations last as long as the marriage and no one will have to sign anything.
