Blomkamp strikes me as too intelligent to let something like that escape his notice, and by the end I'd chalked him up as someone who hates all races equally. Plus, the film was simply of uncommonly high quality. Given that we are a model minority in the US making up 17% of black ivy league students and socio-economically outperform almost all other groups even asians, this film is playing on outdated stereotypes far removed from reality.
