Rachael Ray’s Vocal Cord Surgery
Former Food Network star and talk-show host Rachael Ray had surgery to remove a benign cyst from her vocal cords, reports Perez Hilton. She had previously cancelled the surgery, opting to begin intense vocal therapy instead.
“According to Rachael’s doctors, the minor, non-invasive procedure was a success and she is already resting at home,” said a representative for the star. “The hardest part for Rachael is going to be giving her voice a rest for the next week or so.”
Ray, who found fame on the show 30 Minute Meals, currently hosts a talk show named after her.
