Sarah Jessica Parker Welcomes Twins
Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker, 44, and husband Matthew Broderick, 47, are the proud parents of twin girls, Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge, according to E! Online.
The babies were born Monday at 3:58 p.m. via a surrogate mother in Martins Ferry, Ohio. “The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon,” the couple said in a statement. Both babies were reportedly healthy. Marion Loretta Elwell weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz. at birth, while Tabitha Hodge was 6 lbs.
People reported Elwell and Hodge are both family names taken from Parker’s side. The newest additions to the Parker-Broderick clan will join the couple’s six-year-old son, James Wilkie.
