Ghostbusters: The Video Game – Get Ready to Be Slimed
Only a Carpathian would be upset at Atari’s announcement today that Ghostbusters: The Video Game is on the shelves across North America. The long-anticipated return of the Ghostbusters is causing mass outbreaks of nerdgasms from Vancouver to Miami – which will be represented in this article by this indicator – [nerdgasm]. The release of the game is accompanying the 25th anniversary of the original Ghostbusters film, which is being released on Blu-Ray [nerdgasm].
The game promises to reunite most of the cast of Ghostbusters I and II [nerdgasm], most prominently Bill Murray as Peter Venkman, Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore, and of course Dan Akyroyd & Harold Ramis as Ray Stanz and Egon Spengler (who wrote the script for the game as well [nerdgasm]- think of this as Ghostbusters 2 ½). The player will take on the role of the 5th Ghostbuster [nerdgasm] who is performing the missions with support from the cast of the films. You’ll have access to the equipment from the original films, and prototype gadgets designed for this game.

Is it a party foul to spill booze if it goes right through you?
Now we only have to wait for the rumored Ghostbusters 3 to appear in theatres – until then, enjoy the game! Bustin’ makes you feel good.
