burnout-paradiseBeing released June 11th for $12.99 (or 1000 MS points), EA invites players to revisit the world of Burnout Paradise with an entirely new island to play with! Criterion Games wants you to check out Big Surf Island, a brand new playground that highlights more challenges, more events, bigger jumps, more things to smash and to top it all off, a set of nine brand new vehicles to play in!

Other features Big Surf Island provides includes Island specific driver’s licenses, the biggest ramps and leaps in the game, and as Pete Lake says (the producer of Big Surf Island), “Big Surf Island is the most fun players can have in Burnout Paradise and provides incredible value for money, we listened to our community and built this massive new playground for them.”

Consider two things before you think about passing this DLC over. First off, the game itself (Burnout Paradise) is only $20 as part of the Platinum hits series on Xbox. And secondly, if you never gave Burnout Paradise a chance, thinking you’re not that into racing games, think again. I only recently picked up Burnout myself and was amazed and surprised by how much fun it is, and how hard it was to put the controller down!
