Bruce SpringsteenBruce Springsteen will bid farewell to New Jersey’s Giants Stadium this fall as the final music act to rock the soon-to-be-demolished sporting venue.

Springsteen made the announcement this week during his show at the nearby Izod Center, telling the crowd that he and his “wrecking crew” – the E Street Band – have a three-concert stint at the stadium scheduled for Sept. 30, Oct. 2 and Oct. 3.

Tickets for those shows go on sale June 1 at 10 a.m. EST.

Springsteen is no stranger to Giants Stadium, having sold out 16 concerts at the venue throughout his career.

The stadium is slated for demolition following this year’s NFL season to clear the path for the New York Giants’ new $1.3 billion home.
