I agree with almost everything in this great and well written review, but I only disagree about the graphics. The game are far better than the movie, but the graphics are outdated and doesn’t look polished to me. Besides that, the game are a true diamond for Wolverine fans. If Raven had more time to refine the game, sure it would be AAA, IMHO!

Josh, keep writing more good reviews for us, please!

Excellent Review, I feel that this game is even better then the movie. I enjoyed the movie, but this game goes beyond the movie! This game captures the essence of what means to be Wolverine, and I love the carnage that you can cause. Raven has done a great job! They have succeeded in making a movie game that’s actually fun to play.

Great review. Very very thoughtful, and I agree with most of what you’ve said.

I thought the plot of the game was stronger than the movie at some point, and really hope for a second game that continues the story they’re telling.

I’m debating dropping $10 on the DLC, but it seems a little steep. I do really enjoy the other challenges though, as using the combat system in a controlled enviornment like that really makes the game shine.

Again – fantastic review! I’ll be checking out this site more often now!

I JUST completed the game and was looking about the bonus/unlockables and its lead me here and after reading I have to say that I fully agree with your review.

Movies was good but the game was better and I look forward to a sequel (if one is made unlike what sadly happened with The Punisher).

Also thank you for explain the “Uncaged Edition” situation, though I figure it was to do with censorship I didn’t know it was only for next gen consoles.

Great review!! I agree that it’s good to see more adult oriented games with more blood and carnage. It’s great to play a movie based game that is actually good and has a lot of depth and replayability and not just rushed and slapped together so it can be released at the same time as the movie. Hopefully this isn’t the last good movie tie-in game that we’ll see.

Excellent review for an excellent game. It’s really nice to finally see some decent licensed games after all the crappy ones we’ve had to deal with since the NES days. Looking forward to reading more reviews on this site as I wasn’t made of aware of its existence nor quality until now.
