Multiple reports state that Casey Aldridge, the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’ 10-month-old daughter, Maddie, was rushed to the emergency room this weekend after being involved in a bad car accident.

Spears, 18, and Aldridge’s sister are at Casey’s side where he is hospitalized at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, according to sources. Staff at the hospital would not confirm that Aldridge is undergoing treatment there. 

Aldridge was driving home from a fishing trip in Amite Counts, MS, when his Ford F150  went off the shoulder of the road and flipped over, reports PEOPLE. Aldridge was with two male pals in the car, one of whom broke his collar bone.

According to one perezhilton.com, Casey has a blood clot near his brain and is about to undergo surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Centre.
