The NBA is kicking off its 2009 playoffs campaign with the help of Kanye West.

The hip-hop star’s “Amazing,” the third single from his platinum album “808s and Heartbreak,” provides the soundtrack to a new music video produced by NBA Entertainment and released online today.

The video takes a look back at memorable playoff performances from the likes of Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Paul Pierce, all unspooling over the pounding beat of West’s track.

Fittingly, the NBA’s tag line for the past two seasons has been “Where Amazing Happens.”
