In a recent interview with the U.K.’s London Lite tabloid, Allen reported that she is considering retiring from the business after she finishes her tour in September.

She told the tabloid that she has vague plans of instead running a “fancy dress shop” with her longtime friend and perhaps getting married and having children in the nearby future, according to chartattack.com.

Allen could be pondering the decision to retire based on her recent issues with the New York Times and the Paparazzi.

Allen called the New York Times “cheap skanks” on her MySpace blog after photographs of her in her home that were taken by the publication were syndicated to tabloids.

Allen has also had many troubles with the Paparazzi following her and causing havoc, including last month when a photographer allegedly rear ended her car.

“There have been times when it hasn’t made me happy, mainly when people are being really mean to me or when I’m getting followed down the street,” Allen told MTV News last month when she mentioned quitting the business.
