By now, we all know Jason Mesnick is “a bastard.” ABC’s most recent loser from The Bachelor reached a new low (even for reality TV) at Monday night’s After The Final Rose (ATFR) ceremony. If you never watched The Bachelor—I’m pretty sure you did last night. After all, the show’s dramatic season finale was the series’ largest ever in five years. 15.5 million of us tuned into the two-hour season finale and, after learning that “the winner” Melissa Rycroft was traded in for runner-up Molly Malaney, another 2.5 million tuned in for the ATFR show. Ticket sales of the band’s new concert movie, “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Experience,” is much lower than expected. The movie, featuring the star-studded brothers, was expected to bring in an estimated $30 to $40 million dollars, and only racked in sales of around $12.7 million over the course of opening weekend. Father Wants Money From Slumdog Director
Turns out his Azharuddin Ismail’s 15 minutes of fame wasn’t quite enough for his father. Ismail played Salim in the Oscar winning film, Slumdog Millionaire, and his father Mohammed believes he deserves more for his performance. According to perezhilton.com, Ismail was paid an initial fee of $1, 000 during the filming of Slumdog, and $25, 000 dollars have supposedly been placed in a trust that Ismail will have access to once he turns 18.
