Pete Wentz says Marital Problems Rumours are False

Last week gossip sites were filled with rumors that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson’s marriage was “on the rocks” due to the bassist’s busy schedule.
However on Friday, Wentz and Simpson happily kissed onstage at the Australian Video Music Awards. “Sorry, we haven’t seen each other in a while,” Simpson told the audience. “We’re going to find a quiet place to fornicate.”
MTV reports that Wentz emailed them about the rumors that his marriage was in trouble, calling them “nonsense” and telling his fans to consider the source of rumours before believing them.
“We’re still going steady. She’s still wearing my letterman jacket,” he wrote. “And you shouldn’t believe everything you read on the Internet. It’s nonsense.”
