Notorious B.I.G.’s Last Dance
In the biopic film “Notorious,” audiences across the globe got a glimpse into the life and times Christopher Wallace and the last event he attended just hours before tragedy struck and his life was ended.
It was a party that took place after the Vibe awards in Los Angeles at the Petersen Automotive Museum where stars such as Diddy, Missy Elliott and Aalyiah took part in the festivities, unaware of the dark fate looming over the celebration.
Now, more than seven minutes of amateur recording of the legendary 1997 party has surfaced on the internet, MTVnews.com reports. The film features scenes such as Puff Daddy dancing to “All About the Benjamins” along with crowd shots of artists and celebrities such as Irv Gotti, DJ Clue, Chris Tucker and Ginuwine. A Note at the bottom of the footage revealed that Biggie himself refused to be videotaped.
Notorious B.I.G was said to have left the party at 12:30 am, and was pronounced dead at 1:15 am. While the film depicted the footage as being recorded well after 1:30 am, sources believe that the recorded time is inaccurate as the party was said to be shut down well before this time due to overcrowding.
