Limp BizkitFred Durst is doing a lot of forgiving this week according to MTVnews.com.

Durst recently made peace with band mate Wes Borland after a rift in their friendship left their band in shambles, and now Durst plans to re-form Limp Bizkit and in an attempt to re-live their glory days.

Durst is also forgiving Britney Spears after she left him high and dry regarding some comments he made about their alleged romantic relationship.

It seems that back in 2003, Durst was asked to pen some lyrics for a Britney album and he ended up making some comments to the media that led the public to believe that the two were involved in a romantic relationship.

Spears then took to the airwaves to disclaim the rumor that the two were an item, which left Durst looking like a liar and a loser.

“It just became a fiasco of madness,” Durst told MTV News this week. “[But] I always stay true to my heart and true to everything I did and my intentions, and I am in no way a liar.”

Now Durst is letting bygones be bygones.

“People can judge her all they want, but she has an extreme presence and when she’s giving it, it’s really good,” he continued. “I don’t think you can really write her off and I just think it’d be silly for people to think that they could. Everything kind of works in cycles and I think she’s an example of how those things work.”
