Could Mickey Rourke Be Joining The Cast Of ‘Iron Man 2’?
It has been reported that “The Wrestler” star and Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke has signed on to play a super-villain in the upcoming comic book flick “Iron Man 2,” according to DeadlineHollywood Daily.com.
Scarlett Johansson has also been cast in the movie, according to reports which claim that Johansson has replaced Emily Blunt, who was supposed to play the Black Widow, according to Deadline Hollywood.
According to the site, the “Vicky Cristina Barcelona ” star scored a screen-test for the role but didn’t get the part originally.
In a recent press event, Blunt spoke about loosing the role in the “Iron Man 2” movie. “It’s a little disappointing is all I can say.”
“Iron Man” features Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man and the sequel to the successful first movie is set to release in 2010.
