The rubberized shell has a really great feel to it and is custom vented to allow for safe heat disbursement and access to all ports, battery compartments and DVD drives. Cases for earlier iBooks are available in an acrylic type finish and are good, but this current line of casing for the newest macbook aluminum notebook is truly a knockout.
