The British Academy Film Awards big winner last night- Slumdog Millionare was presented by Mick Jagger along with a hilarious line about Brad Pitt. The Rolling Stone explained that he was part of a rock star-movie star exchange program, which was why he was not at the Grammy Awards- which was taking place the same night.

“Sir Anthony Hopkins is in the recording studio with Amy Winehouse,” said Jagger, “and we are hoping that next week Sir Brad and all the Pitt family will be performing The Sound of Music at the Brit awards.” Both Pitt and wife Angelina Jolie were shown laughing in the audience.

Slumdog racked up seven awards last night including best film, director, editing, screenplay, score, sound and cinematography while The Curious Case of Benjamin Button won production design, makeup and hair and special visual effects. The event took place at the London’s Royal Opera House.
