Report: Howie Mandel In Toronto Hospital After Suffering Heart Attack
Howie Mandel was rushed to a Toronto hospital Monday night after suffering a heart attack, according to CTV News. Mandel, the 52-year-old comedian and game show host, was reportedly sent to St. Michaels Hospital after suffering chest pains. CTV reports that Mandel suffered a minor heart attack. CTV also reports that Mandel was treated for an irregular heart beat earlier in the day. Mandel was staying at a downtown Toronto hotel. Continue reading
Patrick Swayze Checks Into Hospital With Pneumonia
Patrick Swayze has been hospitalized for pneumonia, according to E News. Abbe Rave, president of A&E announced at a panel on Friday that the actor \”has checked himself into the hospital this morning for observation after coming down with pneumonia. As anyone who has had a friend or family member that has undergone treatment for cancer knows, chemotherapy can take a toll on your immune system. Patrick did want me to tell you that he is very sorry he couldn\’t be at the panel this morning, but he plans to get back to promoting \’The Beast\’ as soon as he is back on his feet.\” Continue reading
John Travolta Will Not Appear At Golden Globes
After the tragic passing of his 16-year-old son Jett, who died on January 2, John Travolta will not be attending the Golden Globes on Sunday. According to E News, his film \”Bolt\” is nominated for two Golden Globes including Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for his duet with \”Hannah Montana\” star Miley Cyrus, \”I Thought I Lost You.\” However, it was assumed that the Travoltas would be attending the event, following their son\’s death from a seizure in the family\’s vacation home in the Bahamas.
