Taylor Swift Scores In 2009
Country singer Taylor Swift has landed at No. 1 for the fourth week with her album “Fearless,” which sold approximately 90,000 copies for the week that ended Sunday according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Beyoncé Knowles’ “I Am…Sasha Fierce” landed at No. 2 with 77,000 copies. It is estimated that “Fearless” will continue to dominate the charts since there are no major releases scheduled for the next little while.
Kanye West climbed two spots with “808s & Heartbreak,” earning the rapper the No. 3 spot with 71,000.
This weeks biggest jumper is “All Wrapped Up,” an album that features songs by “Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. The holiday album jumped 78 spots, landing at No. 10.
Other winners include the “Twilight soundtrack” (No. 4), Nickelback’s “Dark Horse” (No. 5) and “Circus” by Britney Spears (No. 6).
