The blogosphere has been going crazy amidst rumors that Steve Jobs and Co. will not have any formal presence at this years MacWorld Conference and Expo, in San Francisco January 5-9.

Our source reveals they have spoken to representatives from IDG this afternoon who confirmed that Apple will be exhibiting in their usual large booth in the center of the main hall and that Steve Jobs will be delivering a keynote address.

While we have no reason to doubt this source, Apple and Steve are known to change their mind.

Update: Macrumors.com is also confirming that Steve will be delivering a keynote.

Update 2: Macrumors source changes expectation from “Will be at MacWorld” to “May be at Macworld”. Our source still confirms Steve WILL deliver a Keynote as expected.

Update 3: Apple has since confirmed that they will be exhibiting at MacWorld in 2009, however Steve Jobs will not be delivering the Keynote. more
