Neve Campbell Returns To Series Television
Neve Campbell, who played a member of the Salinger clan across six seasons of “Party of Five,” will be a familiar face on the small screen once again.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Canadian actress is attached to co-star on NBC’s midseason drama “The Philanthropist.”
The show will centre on Teddy Rist (James Purefoy of “Rome”), an unconventional billionaire who uses his wealth, connections and power to help people around the world.
Campbell will play the wife of Rist’s business partner and long-time friend, Phillip (Jesse Martin).
The series is currently shooting in South Africa.
Since “Party of Five” ended in 2000, Campbell has appeared in such films as “Closing the Ring” and “The Company,” as well as a three-episode arc on “Medium.”
She recently starred in the BBC global-warming drama “Burn Up” and has also become involved in the campaign against the mining of the Canadian tar sands.
