CSS Cancel Toronto Gig
There will be no CSS for Canadians this month.
Travel issues have nixed the Brazilian electro-pop band’s scheduled show at Toronto’s Opera House on Dec. 15, the group’s only Canadian stop on the current leg of their tour.
The band issued the following statement: “We are so, so sorry to tell you guys that due to documents and visa issues, we had to cancel our next Toronto show.
“Css loves Canada and we promise to make it up to you guys on the next opportunity. We very rarely cancel shows and we hate to have to cancel this one! It’s also very disappointing for us! Hopes of a near future show in Toronto.
“Keep on rockin’ it!”
Refunds can be obtained at points of purchase.
CSS released their second album, “Donkey,” in July. Their current tour includes special guests SSION, Natalie Portman’s Shaved Head, and Hey Willpower.
