Suspect In Custody, Following Murders Of Jennifer Hudson’s Mom And Brother
According to MTV News, Chicago police have taken a suspect into custody, for the double-homicide of Jennifer Hudson’s mother and brother.
William Balfour, 27, is now in custody, after being suspected for the murders. According to the Illinois Department of Corrections, Balfour, who police called “armed and dangerous”, was on a seven year jail sentence in 1999, and was out on parole, following attempted murder, carjacking and stolen property charges.
Following a call early Friday morning from Hudson’s mother’s South Side residence, police found Hudson’s mother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, 57, and older brother, Jason, 29, shot and killed.
Chicago Police Deputy Chief Joseph Patterson, said that there was no sign of forced entry, and that police were unsure if anything was missing from the house.
