Two bodies – one man and one woman – were discovered at the Chicago home of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson.

Local media are reporting that the woman is believed to be Hudson’s mother, though officials have not confirmed these claims. Sources for E! News, however, did confirm that it was Hudson’s mother, 57-year-old Darnelle Hudson, who was found.

Police say that they appeared to have been involved in a shooting related to a domestic disturbance.
