The BET Hip Hop Awards ended up being a bit more special than usual, as Weezy F. Baby, also known as elite rapper Lil Wayne, announced Saturday night, that he’s going to be having his first son soon.

According to MTV news, he was up on stage, accepting the Lyricist of the Year Award, when he then broke the news to the crowd at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center of the miraculous news.

The rapper also received the MVP of the Year award, beating out Jay-Z, DJ Khaled, T.I. and Kanye West. He dedicated the award to his daughter.

His final words when accepting the award were, “I got a son about to be born any day now, so shout-out to him. Pray for me.”

Wayne also lit up the crowd with another performance, being when he combined his skills with T-Pain and Ludacris during “Can’t Believe It” and “Chopped & Screwed”.
