Sarah Palin has confirmed that she will appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend.

Palin has as many critics as supporters, with Tina Fey’s spot-on impersonations of Palin adding fuel to the fire, especially since Fey uses many of Palin’s own words from vice-presidential debates in her parodies.

Josh Brolin will host this weekend’s SNL. Incidentally, Brolin plays President George W. Bush in Oliver Stone’s new movie, W, which of course is a great set-up for some political Palin jokes, and an opportunity for Palin to be funny, or just…flub.

Whether she sinks or swims, though, everyone can at least place bets on the height of Palin’s bouffant hair-do on Saturday night.
