‘Housewives’ Actor In Serious Motorcycle Accident
“Desperate Housewives” actor Gale Harold is in a neurosurgical intensive care unit after being critically injured in a motorcycle accident Tuesday.
Harold, who is also known for his work in Showtime’s “Queer As Folk,” is in “stable condition” and awaiting further tests at the Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, according to hospital sources.
“He has fractured his shoulder and is under observation to assess any possible further injuries,” Harold’s rep Nancy Selzer said in a statement.
“Housewives” creator Marc Cherry said Harold also apparently has swelling on the brain but is expected to recover.
“We’re hearing he’s going to be fine, but he’s going to be recovering for a couple of weeks,” he said.
No one else was hurt in the accident.
Harold, who plays Susan’s new love interest in “Housewives,” had been shooting scenes for the show this week and was scheduled to be on set before the accident.
