Britney’s Comeback Delayed
Britney’s second comeback is being delayed.
According to reports, Britney Spears’ new single, “Womanizer,” will not be released Monday as planned.
Rumour has it that the label wanted to rework the song after it was leaked on the internet last week. Many had high expectations–and were let down after listening to the 40-second clip on YouTube.
In the meantime, Spears has been busy shooting the music video for the single. Shooting began in L.A. on Wednesday and continued yesterday.
“Womanizer” will see Spears in a vampy waitress look–complete with a short black wig, fake tattoos, black leather pants, and red lipstick. The video once again pairs Spears up with director Joseph Khan, who did “Stronger” and “Toxic”.
Spears, who won three awards at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month, will release “Womanizer” as the first single off her upcoming record.
“Circus,” her sixth studio album, is set to hit shelves on December 2.
