Oprah Winfrey has been proclaimed the world’s biggest giver — again.

For the seoncd year running, the day-time host topped a list of the 30 most generous celebrities for giving $50.2 million US last year through the Oprah Winfrey Foundation and Oprah’s Angel Network, which fund education, health care and advocacy for women and children.

The list, now in its second year, was compiled by The Giving Back Fund, a charity that aims to encourage philanthropy.

Claiming the No. 2 spot was trumpeter Herb Alpert, who gave $13 million for education, including music lessons, through the Herb Alpert Foundation.

What a beautiful story happens often, family secrets are plentiful for sure. Who knows what they will learn while here on earth and beyond.Omg what a beautiful thing to find a half sister who has a such compassion and really cares about how this would affect her natural family. Good for you Oprah for being forthright and truthful and not letting the press do its dirty work. I too have a story but the family who have my children will ot let it happen because they do not want the truth to come out I have no problem with it it is called family loyality if my ex husband would have had half the family loyalty then I would have raised my own children. I was told my twin sons died but have since found out that they did not die. I can not have the closure because they are in the limelight also and I do not want to bring them any hurt. I did read in the Toronto Star that they told David Graham that they never felt they belonged in their family. I wish I could tell them why and have closure my ex husband is a monster and I think that in itself would hurt them. When children are raised in a family not their own it changes to some extent who they are. My twins were born in 1964 and I found out in 2002 that I was a victim on the DEAD BABY SCAM that was prevelent here in Canada in the 50s 60s and 70s . I cried so hard alll thru your show today I wish and pray for closure every day children are your gifts from God so maybe just maybe my prayers will be answered. My Ex always had money for everything he wanted after the twins and before we had nothing. I am married to a wonderful man now but I would still love to know my boys.In my case again it is the family resemblance that tells the story .Elva Anderson
