Dido Sets November Release Date For New Album
It’s official: Dido will release her third album, “Safe Trip Home,” on Nov. 4.
The new release, which was postponed several times due to the death of the British singer-songwriter’s father in 2006, will be the follow-up to 2003’s “Life for Rent.”
A track, “Look No Further,” is already available as a free download from her website, DidoMusic.com.
The first official single is called “Don’t Believe in Love” and will be released digitally and on CD at a later to-be-announced date.
The album, which also features a track co-written by famed music producer Brian Eno, was co-produced by Dido along with Jon Brion and her brother Rollo Armstrong.
Dido’s first album, 1999’s “No Angel,” is the U.K.’s biggest selling debut album by a British female artist.
