CoolIt Systems Introduces MTEC Docking Station
CoolIt Systems announced this week the latest advancement in computer cooling technology in the MTEC Docking Station. In collaboration with Intel, CoolIt developed an ideal cooling station for Intel Core 2 Extreme mobile processor based laptops, including the Intel Core 2 Extreme mobile processor QX9300. The new MTEC docking station effectively enables safe and powerful overclocking capabilities.
The MTEC features an efficient, Thermoelectric design that manages airflow by pumping cooled air directly into the laptop’s existing CPU and GPU intakes while directing all the heat exhaust through the rear of the dock. The MTEC also features full software control, as the dock’s software allows users to customize performance based on cooling power vs. desired acoustic levels.
The MTEC Docking Station marks a crucial turning point in mobile gaming technology,” said Geoff Lyon, CEO of CoolIT Systems in a press release from the company. “The Intel® Core®2 Extreme mobile processor QX9300, enhanced by CoolIT’s MTEC technology, will bring avid gamers and enthusiasts to unprecedented levels of extreme gaming performance.”
