Crash Bandicoot: Mind over Mutant Set for October 2008 Release
Sierra Entertainment, in collaboration with Radical Entertainment, announced details of its new Crash Bandicoot: Mind over Mutant game, to be released in October 2008. In Crash Bandicoot: Mind over Mutant, a rejuvenated Neo Cortex is taking over the world through a text-messaging, do-anything devices that controls both mutant and bandicoot minds. In this game, Crash must free his friends from Neo Cortex’s mind-controlling device.
This version of the Crash Bandicoot franchises features several new aspects, including the ‘Mutant in Your Pocket’ feature that allows gamers to store their favourite defeated monsters in Crash’s pocket to upgrade and utilize their powers throughout the game. The game will also feature a ‘free-romping’ world design, where Wumpa Island is fully realized as a real location that allows players to travel and explore through intersecting worlds. Crash’s sister, Coco, is also introduced as a playable character in this game, and has an unique ‘treasure hunt’ ability.
Crash Bandicoot: Mind over Mutant will be playable on Xbox360, Nintendo Wii, PS2, DS and PSP.
