The Canuck contingent will be well-represented at this year’s CMJ Music Marathon and Film Festival, with Broken Social Scene, The Dears, Hey Rosetta! and Crystal Castles among the confirmed performers.

The lineup, set to descend upon various venues around New York City from Oct. 21 to 25, also includes The Broken West, Cool Kids, Deerhoof, Jay Reatard, Juliana Hatfield, Lykke Li, Margot And The Nuclear So And So’s, Minus The Bear and Roisin Murphy, among many others.

Tickets are currently on sale, with special discounts for students.

The festival, now in its 28th year, showcases new or breaking music artists, alongside industry panels and film screenings.

Over 100,000 fans, artists, filmmakers and industry types are expected to attend.
