Moby is inviting fans to make a music video for his new single “Ooh Yeah.”

The creator of the winning clip, chosen by Moby himself, will receive US$10,000 in prize money and have the honour of seeing his/her clip used as the official video.

Entries will be put up for viewing and commenting via Vimeo.com, and must be received by midnight on July 14.

More details about the competition can be found at Mobygratis.com, a website launched by Moby which allows visual artists to use the DJ/songwriter’s music in their non-commercial or non-profit work free of charge.

“Ooh Yeah” is the lead-off track on Moby’s ninth studio album “Last Night,” which was released earlier this year.

Moby will be in New York tonight to play Mercury Lounge with his blues-rock band The Little Death NYC.
