Griffin Technology Releases New iPhone 3G Cases
Griffin Technology, a hardware company that specializes in iPod accessories, has announced the development of new cases for Apple’s iPhone 3G. The cases will be designed specifically for the latest version of the iPhone, set to be released on July 11, 2008.
Griffin Technology will be releasing a total of four new cases for the iPhone 3: Wave, Nu Form, Elan Form and Elan Clip.
The Wave features wave-shaped contours that overlap and interlock, and has a double-helix closure that provides more surface area to hold the two halves of the case together. The Nu Form case is hard-shell and impact-resistant, and features a thin, ridged screen protector that prevents fingerprints, smudges and scratches. The Elan Form is a hard shell leather case designed to clip around the iPhone 3G. The Elan Form incorporates Griffin Technology’s Easy Dock design, allowing users to easily clip the iPod into a dock without removing the case. Finally, the Elan Clip is also a hard shell leather case, and is attached to belt clip that rotates 180 degrees. The clip also locks into a longer position, so it can be used as a stand while watching movies on your iPhone.
All of the iPhone cases will be available at major retail stores (including Apple stores), and will be selling for $24.99 – $29.99.
