Hard rock band Disturbed rose to the top this week with their new album “Indestructible,” taking the No. 1 spot on both the Canadian and U.S. album charts.

According to Neilsen SoundScan, the album – Disturbed’s fourth – sold over 19,000 copies in Canada to become the Chicago-based band’s first ever No. 1 release in the country.

“Indestructible” sold 252,000 copies south of the border for the top spot there.

The band previously snagged the No. 1 spot on the U.S. charts with 2005’s “Ten Thousand Fists” and 2002’s “Believe,” which both peaked at No. 2 in Canada.

Taking the runner-up spot on this week’s Canadian charts was Weezer’s self-titled disc, a.k.a. the Red Album, which sold over 12,000 copies.

Rounding out the top five in order were Usher’s “Here I Stand” (last week’s No. 1), the “Sex and the City” soundtrack and Madonna’s “Hard Candy.”
