Britney Spears’ Condition Still Fragile, Court Says
The Los Angeles court commissioner overseeing Britney Spears’ conservatorship case said the star’s condition is “too tenuous” and believes it’s still too early to allow the pop star to take care of her own business.
After a 90 minute meeting with the lawyers in commissioner’s Reva Goetz’s chambers, Goetz said, “It’s my understanding that her condition is somewhat tenuous. Her medical condition remains the same.”
Spears’ court-appointed probate attorney, Samuel Ingham, agreed. “It could be harmful to her to participate,” he said.
Both Britney and her father Jaime did not attend the hearing.
Goetz is expected to make a final decision about the future of Spears’ conservatorship at the end of July.
