The Fratellis’ Sophomore Album To Drop Next Month
The Fratellis will follow up a successful debut with the release of their second album, “Here We Stand,” on June 10.
The fist single from the self-produced album is “Mistress Mabel,” which can now be previewed on the Scottish trio’s MySpace page.
The band is also set to play an intimate London show on Tuesday in anticipation of the new release.
The Fratellis’ debut album came out in 2006 to positive reviews, earning the band a Brit Award win in 2007 for best British breakthrough act.
The track “Flathead” was used in an iPod commercial and reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Singles Sales chart.
The band has also played with such acts as The Who, The Police and Kasabian.
