Wrestling superstar Hulk Hogan will have to visit his son Nick Bollea in prison for the next few months.
After pleading no contest to causing a crash that seriously injured his best friend, the 17-year-old was sentenced to eight months in jail, five years of probation, and must surrender his driving privileges for three years, as ordered by the judge Friday.
Back in November, Nick Bollea was arrested and charged with felony reckless driving that caused severe bodily injury to friend John Graziano who suffered a broken skull and other serious injuries and will now require lifetime medical care. According to authorities, Nick Bollea was street racing his father’s car when he slammed into a palm tree.
Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, testified on his son’s behalf as did his estranged wife Linda, and daughter Brooke.
Nick Bollea was taken out of court immediately to begin his sentence.
