Tom Hanks’ castmate for the film Angels and Demons, a prequel to The DaVinci Code, has been announced, ew.com reports.

Ayelet Zurer, and Isreali actress, has been cast as Vittoria Vetr, the lead opposite Hanks’ character, Robert Langdon. However, the studio refuses to confirm the casting.

Zurer has appeared in other Hollywood films including Munich and Vantage Point.

The production is set to begin filming in Europe in June, and is set for release in May of next year.
